Nikita Vhora

Nikita started as a copywriter at the age of twenty, during her fifth semester of undergraduate studies in brand communication and media from Fergusson College (Pune).

Since her three years in advertising, she has been working as a consulting brand manager for organisations serving local and international markets. Her work is sector agnostic – with experience in eCommerce, hospitality, marketing agencies, retail and travel – and encompasses the business arm (customer lifecycle management, digital infrastructure, performance marketing, strategy) along with the creative function (content, design, merchandising).

Nikita’s travels are an exercise in studying intersections of the past and present – through architecture, food habits, literature, and interaction with local communities. Her descriptive writing effort identifies cultural nuances in human behaviour and its reflections on their living environment, complemented by photography. She channelises this enthusiasm by leading heritage walks and storytelling workshops for children and adults.

Her mornings begin with a shot of espresso and an absorbing literary read from her ever-increasing personal library.

Sushrut Munje

Sushrut founded Hammer and Mop at the age of nineteen - post dropping out of an instrumentation engineering course - and operated as a first mover in the nascent Indian real estate services market.

After five operational years and a successful exit, he worked in leadership roles (eCommerce, human resource management, marketing) in organisations operating across real estate services, luxury retail and research communication.

His work has primarily included building and restructuring teams, developing and revamping customer journeys, optimising internal and external communication and establishing a unified approach to brand development that transcends departmental boundaries.

Presently, Sushrut has stepped onward to school at the University of Amsterdam, in order to cement his practical lessons with an academic base. He complements his business and communication science studies with interdisciplinary courses, since life sciences and humanities have always held his curiosity. He also offers pro-bono strategy consulting services to social enterprises.

His mornings begin with a shot of espresso and a bicycle ride.
